Dave Badilla
upcoming shows
Dave is available to perform as a solo act, duo, trio or larger group, including the
recently formed "Dave Badilla Band", a group of seasoned professional musicians
from other bands Dave has worked with in the past. On any given gig, you will hear a
mix of music, from country to Motown, rock and roll, and everything in between.  In
addition to his regular bands, Dave also performs with local bands such as “The
Fundudes”, “Somebody’s Uncle”, “The Hot Rods Band”,  and others on an  “as
needed” basis.

After a delay of many years, Dave is currently working on a cd of cover songs from his
vast collection of  classic rock 'n roll classics, which will also include his original
song,  "Here I Am".  The cd will be available for sale in Spring of 2012. Stay tuned for
updates on the release date.   

In September 2007, Dave began working with local Bammy winner Michael Hanna
as part of the duo “Hanna Banana” (www.HannaBanana.com) performing for
children’s events with a repertoire of songs children can sing & dance along to, and
songs from the past that parents know and love. An interactive duo, children are
encouraged to “sing it out” while Dave and Michael mix and match guitars,
mandolin, harmonica, bass and banjo.

In the final weeks of 2006, Dave laid down guitar tracks for a song on “Guitar Farm
2”, a follow-up album to “Guitar Farm” which features nationally and internationally
known guitar players such as Dave Meniketti & John Nyman of Y&T, Stef  Burns, Brad
Gillis, Jim Ziegler, Tommy Castro, Dave Jenkins (from Pablo Cruise), the great Steve
Morse, Pat Thrall, Peppino d’Agostino, Mike Varney, Jim Bedford, Charles Sedlak
and Steve Woolverton. Still in production, the album release date has not been set
yet.  

Getting married? Dave Badilla is now  licensed in the State of California as a
wedding  officiant and can legally marry you and your loved one at the location of your
choice and help write your wedding vows, as well as provide the music!  As an
ordained non-denominational reverend, he can also officiate at house-blessing
ceremonies, commitment ceremonies, baptisms,  or funerals incorporating secular
or religious elements tailored to your beliefs, customs and desires.
